Who should attend?

This presentation is for you if you have always thought you wanted to write a book, but didn’t know how to start. If you know the value of having a business book as a unique and invaluable marketing tool, and another income producing product, as well as a branding exercise. If you know that having a book can change your business forever.

You will learn:

  • Why you should write it
  • How to go about it (different methods)
  • Case studies of other business books that sell and why
  • What it costs to write a book (time and money)
  • Print, or eBook – which way to go?
  • Approaching a major publisher or self-publish (pros & cons)
  • Some excellent writer’s tools you should be using
  • Avoid the pitfalls – it’s a publishing minefield out there (you could lose a lot of money)
  • Passive income – and how to maximise this

Your business book is currency! It effectively establishes you (if it’s good enough) as an absolute expert in your field and you could become the “go-to” person in your niche.

(that is – if it is done right)

If you have been in your industry for quite a while, then chances are, you have a lot of expertise/knowledge that you could impart onto your clients/customers and/or your prospective clients/customers.

Come and get some answers to your questions and start the journey sooner, rather than later. (There are plenty of people out there who are “gunna” write a book one day – don’t be a “gunna”!)

About Your Presenter

IMG_2953Suzanne Kiraly is a digital publishing consultant, book coach and agent for a handful of select clients, who all have interesting publishing projects.

She is in love with books and the publishing process, and finds people with entrepreneurial tendencies (who take the plunge and go into business), are very special. Those who not only survive, but thrive, have gained much wisdom along the way. Occasionally Suzanne publishes her own work in an eclectic fashion, on topics that capture here interest.

She is the author of the book, Canberra Business Success Stories, which will launch on August 28th at the National Library, as part of the inaugural Canberra Writers Festival.
